The stone

The Stone

La piedra is a poem by the Brazilian writer, poet and teacher, Antonio Pereira Apon. He tells us about downplaying the number of obstacles that you encounter on the way, and focusing on the way in which they are experienced and resolved.

We normally associate the stone with an obstacle, a synonym for a problem, instead of focusing on it as a wake-up call to change perspective.

Fusing hyper-realistic sculpture with Pop-inspired painting, I try to bring you the art that emanates from living, touching the mind, soul and heart. Recited through prose and verse, from a contemporary vision of today's society.
